Boscombe Pier Sunset I.

Not all sunsets are the same. I wonder if we were to have a conversation, what sunsets would stick in your mind above all of them you have seen.

This will remain one of the most magical sunsets of my life. It was one of those moments when everything comes together in that perfect moment.

The air was still, and there was a silence to the scene. The observers watching this masterpiece of nature were silent in their respect, The winter atmosphere created a palette of colours that if Im honest, I had never witnessed before, and now sometimes wonder if I will ever witness again.

Boscombe Pier Sunset I was taken using ICM, then the composition finalised using multilayering techniques. When people ask what are the favourite photos I have taken, this is always one I like to show. The dreamlike nature of this piece allows me to return to that sunset every time I look on the scene, and with that a calm happiness consumes me.
